So chuffed, I had convinced myself i'd flopped on the EMPAs and would only end up with a B :biggrin:


i need to resit unit 5 any help would so be appreciated i completed effed up there :frown:

Can this and Chem5 only be resat in the summer time? I was hoping to do it in january....

CHEM5 can be resat in January, but BIOL5 can only be resat in June.

I got A*AB :smile: Missed my offer of AAA for Medicine though! I've got a bundle of extenuating health circumstances over exams (appendicitis etc!) so i'm waiting to hear back for an unconditional from KCL for 2013 entry! If not i'm looking to re-sit my B, work and become rich (ish!) :P and go travelling for 6 months! How about you? What did you get and what are you hoping to do? :biggrin:

A*AB is outstanding considering you had appendicitis! I hope you get into King's and have fun on your gap year :smile:

I got ABB, which was my firm offer for Biomedicine at UEA. I am hopefully going to get into Medical Research but it's actually quite competitive :/

I did want to do medicine but I decided I would be more interested in the research side and working hours are nicer for scientists than GP's :P (plus I didn't get AAA xD)
I'm a little bit late with this but oh well:

Unit 1: 86/100 A
Unit 2: 128/140 A
Unit 3: 52/60 A
AS: 266/300 A
Unit 4: 78/100 B
Unit 5: 124/140 A
Unit 6: 60/60 A*
A2: 262/300 A

Total: 528/600 A :smile:
Got remarked upto a* yesterday:
Unit 1: 82/100 A
Unit 2: 122/140 A
Unit 3: 48/60 A
AS: 252/300 A
Unit 4: 95/100 A
Unit 5: 119/140 A ---remarked---> 126/140 A
Unit 6: 52/60 A
A2: 273/300 A

Total: 524/600 A* :cool:
Eventhough I did not do too well in AS

I finally got my A in Biology after finding it so hard to get higher than a B. :biggrin: I never realised how far off an A* I was until I put the results here.... Coursework always let's me down. :frown: but I got the grade I wanted so it won't bother me to much. :tongue:

Can you guys give me tips for getting an A in both AS and A2 modules? I learned all the content from the spec and did past papers but I only got 225/300 for AS.
