Re: The Uni Study Thread Mk II
Ok, so I've been writing out my presentation for my masters project which I have to give on Tuesday. It's so incredibly hard to squash an entire dissertation into 10 minutes. I am having to leave so much stuff out.
Anyway, gotta fit in finishing this around my heavy bbq social calendar! -
Re: The Uni Study Thread Mk II
End of year 2, woooot. I was dreading the exam today, out of 20 power point slides worth of information, I'd revised 6. Lucky for me 3 out of the 6 questions were based on that information...guess which three I answered.

Probably not the best answers but I THINK I can forget worrying about having to re-take it now. Well I'll be pissed if I have to... -
Re: The Uni Study Thread Mk IILook in your equivalent to a handbook for your school of study and they usually have criteria for each grade band for exams and essays in there somewhere! Saying things like, substantially answers the question with rigorous attention to blah blah blah.(Original post by ItsRach)
One exam went well today, one went horribly.
What is the chances of getting a pass by referring to the Q and writing an answer and argueing points but the answer not being entirely relevant to the Q and missing substantial information?

Re: The Uni Study Thread Mk IIfor every criteria it basically mentions addresses, question, shows substantial knowledge, arguments flow logically etc..(Original post by Alexandra1234567)
Look in your equivalent to a handbook for your school of study and they usually have criteria for each grade band for exams and essays in there somewhere! Saying things like, substantially answers the question with rigorous attention to blah blah blah.
I'm sort of hoping I pass on the basis I did address the question etc, just didn't answer it very well! -
Re: The Uni Study Thread Mk II
Three down, two to go.
Hardest exam (Early Modern) is on Monday
Couldn't revise today because of the weather. Ended up going swimming and getting sunburnt after this mornings exam. Can't concentrate now either, but think that's because I'm tired after having gotten up at 6.45 this morning....
Can't wait for Wednesday afternoon to come around! -
Re: The Uni Study Thread Mk IIWhat an excellent idea, after my exam is over this morning I am going to copy you(Original post by dknt)
I've decided to watch all 6 seasons of Lost. Because revision.
Please go well exam, pleaseee! -

Just hoping to finish my extra work today and send it off!

. If I sat it right now I don't think it would go well. I understand the material but getting my brain to remember it is another matter entirely.
