    Odd question
    I am going to herts in september and was wondering what the deal is on getting parcels delivered???

    especially those from the likes of western gourmet which contain fresh meat????

    you can even get ASDA/tesco delivered on campus. No problems what so ever. Big parcels will be delivered at the post office on college lane or if you are on de hav they'll be delivered at the accommodation office.

    only issue is if a sig is required, then u will need to go to the post offfice collection place in hatfield (not too far from the Asda)

    Have you got experience with delivering on campus? Usually students just come down at a particular time sign for their stuff and take it with them, at least that's how I thought it was done

    Well it was a package delivered by royal mail and they needed a sig for to be released, i don't think they actually tried to contact my flatmate but instead just posted one of those little red cards

    Yeah for packages and parcels delivered by Royal mail and stuff they are always delivered to the accommodation office and otherwise the post office in Hatfield Town centre but I'm pretty sure this doesn't count for ASDAs vans, they are not going to send a crate of food to the post office for you to pick up :P
