Re: Psychology AQA A PSYA1 23rd May 2012!No Because it just asked for research, and loftis did a study into weapon focus too but so did peters(Original post by Hamsey45)
Im pretty sure you were only supposed to talk about one. Also, isnt Weapon focus by Loftus? -
Re: Psychology AQA A PSYA1 23rd May 2012!You wouldn't have lost any marks as the paper is marked positively! They would have just read the first study and ignored the second one and just given the correct amount of marks based on the first study(Original post by Hamsey45)
Why? The question was 'Identify ONE study into the effects of anxiety? you would have lost marks if you talked about more than one as you are not answering the question. -
Re: Psychology AQA A PSYA1 23rd May 2012!I think it should be okay because AQA are really leanient.(Original post by 3x_lauren)

The question was: 'identify two differences between the short and long term store featured in the MSM of memory.(Original post by Happy03)
yeah my bad i cant really remmember :L if someone could get hold of the paper thatd be good
There was three possible answers: capacity, duration and encoding.
I chose capacity - STM = Around 7+ or - 1 pieces of info. LTM = Potentially unlimited.
I also chose encoding - STM = Acoustically as well as visually. LTM = Semantically.

Re: Psychology AQA A PSYA1 23rd May 2012!Its 7 +/- 2 for stm's capacity not 7+/-1.So it can hold from 5-9 items.(Original post by BobbyBurke)

Re: Psychology AQA A PSYA1 23rd May 2012!Yes I agree - but I doubt the person would loose marks for saying 7+/-1(Original post by darkshadow1111)

Re: Psychology AQA A PSYA1 23rd May 2012!Dunno aqa are getting tougher in there marking. Also in almost every mark scheme they always say from 5-9 items so the person may lose marks for inaccuracy.(Original post by hhh123)
