We should all meet up and do something during freshers! I have the worst habit of talking copiously when nervous; so I'll break the ice and take the nervousness out of you's no doubt haha.

Re: University of Ulster applicants 2012
sweet :P and its a really nice area. when me and my friends were looking at houses we were waiting for the guy at 15 old mill grange for ages then the woman across the street called us over and asked if we wanted to have a look and after we went to 15 it looked terrible compared to 16. for like £2 more its worth it :P like the back garden is bigger and nicer and the house in general is just better :L

Re: University of Ulster applicants 2012
BTW does anyone have any idea why the University of Ulster have cut the bursary they give to students? Queen's give a bursary of around £600-1100 depending on your household income. UU gave up to £800 last year, which I was entitled to if I had of stayed on my previous course. This year however it seems to be reduced to £350. Not that it's a big deal as it was always just a helpful bonus. But its more that they previously said they wanted to bring their bursary's up in line with Queen's, but instead have reduced them.

Where did you read this? Last I checked it was up to £1000...(Original post by Dbx125)

According to that the bursaries for new students this year are down to £350. Its a bit of a kick in the teeth to students choosing UU over Queen's to get told Queen's students get £1100 and UU give £350. Not much you can do I suppose.Last edited by Dbx125; 11-08-2012 at 20:11. -
That is indeed very disappointing. I planned on using those bursaries to pay for a MA when the time came(Original post by Dbx125)

. I wonder if this is subject to change as it is a massive reduction and only households of under £19k are entitled to anything?! Very strange indeed.
