the interview is really laid back, i had 2 tutors and was in there for approx 20mins, they just ask you about why you want to do physio and your experiences of physio. the 2 tutors were really nice in my interview, got an offer!!! )))))

That's brilliant, I have heard a few people say that the MMU interview is relatively laidback compared to other unis! Did they ask you any questions that you didn't see coming or was it just pretty straightforward?

they basically just asked me about experiences in physio, what areas i had researched and asked me to give examples as to how a physio would treat these people: such as a person recovering from a stroke, arthritis, womens health etc. they also asked me team working experiences and asked me for an example of how i overcome a problem. hope this helps!! oh i just wore trousers and a smart top!

Well my interview was fairly laid back although it was for Nursing, the actual campus isn't that bad if you ignore the old leaky buildings that is, its close enough to all the shops and stuff, the few things i would say is the canteen and Library is not very useful to students on long 45 weeks courses, the library is only open until about 4.30pm if that in the summer and holidays even though us Nursing students are still in or on placement and when on placement we dont finish until 4pm on the early or until 9pmish on the late so if we have assignments to do while on placement its not very useful to us.

Hey I'm studying Psychology in Man Met hopefully and all my classes are in Elizabeth Gaskell campus too. At the open day the lecture room was really not nice but apparently they are getting a new building soon and stuff so hopefully we won't have to put up with it for long lol.. i'm not sure which halls to choose as Daisy Bank is closest to EG but further away from the centre and the rest of the halls.
