Re: Current Year 11 Thread Mark IIAnd 2011 paper you could drop 10 marks and still be on full ums!(Original post by x-Sophie-x)
The 2011 paper wasn't difficult. I have not yet done the 2012 Paper, but I usually find listening papers more difficult than reading, so personally, yes. You?
Managed to find 2012 listening markscheme? -
Re: Current Year 11 Thread Mark IIYeah the 2011 paper was fine, and for me I found the Jan 2012 one ok too but the last question on the listening is always really hard, there are so many questions to answer in the two times it is played, I just scribble everything down that I hear. :')(Original post by x-Sophie-x)

Re: Current Year 11 Thread Mark IIThanks:](Original post by rock.and.rose)
Thank you for your kind words.
On Friday the four individuals were charged with criminal harassment and depriving my cousin of his civil rights.
A new law in California comes into play in on 1 July, which from what I gather, is an actual anti-bullying law. While most states make it possible to prosecute bullies using current laws (where there are laws that fit), it appears CA is the first state which will actually have a specific anti-bullying law. I'm sure many others will follow.
While the new law won't obviously be able to apply to my cousin's case, at least the current law allows for the (main) perpetrators to be charged with something, and as a family that gives us a little peace.
I long for the day where similar laws can be applied here.
Just stay stronger and you'll manage to go through tough time

Re: Current Year 11 Thread Mark IIMeh. Either way I foresee low grade boundaries ... Look how many people are unprepared (non-natives) 4 the exam tomorrow.(Original post by multiplexing-gamer)
I'd recomend learning vocab, you just want low grade boundaries!
Do you really think people who cram vocabulary in now would come out with A/A* on tomorrow exam ? Honestly they should have put their foot down for revision earlier. I presume this exam tomorrow should be a wake-up call for the A-LEVELS.
Au revoir.

Re: Current Year 11 Thread Mark IIand fair play to you! I admire the crap out of you but after listening to my teacher drone on about algorithms this year (and subsequently deciding not to take the exam) I have decided that I will be rather happy to see the back of maths......
more of a science-y type anyway

Re: Current Year 11 Thread Mark II
Not too long ago I thought finishing school was a barrier I would never overcome.
It's about time finishing school is nearing, I can't wait for that moment where I look back at the school, knowing I will never have to enter that building ever again, and think to myself "level up!"
Good luck to everyone who is doing their French exam tomorrow!Last edited by L_Vieru; 13-05-2012 at 18:02. -
