Re: Nursing At Keele 2012
I think Keele are being pretty slow compared to other universities. Some people are starting to get interviews etc. but it seems like it's happening too slowly :/.
If it makes you feel any better, I applied for child nursing on the 14th november and all I've had is an acknowledgement so far
.
I spoke to my friends after this post and they think that it's being done alphabetically - not sure if that's true but it's our only explanation at the moment :/Last edited by BeccaAnne94; 06-02-2012 at 16:55. Reason: Update -

Re: Nursing At Keele 2012
Hey, I have have an offer for midwifery at Keele and know a few people with offers for nursing. I think they have done quite a few interview days in November December and January. And they are probably now working through applications for remaining interview dates. If this makes sense, so fingers crossed you will hear something soon

Re: Nursing At Keele 2012
Have you got an offer for Keele? xx
(Original post by Pep_)
Not nursing but midwifery
I hear they're herding most of the school of nursing and midwifery freshers to the 4 person flats at Barnes
I assume most of the nursing academia is done over in the cec? Bit of a pain if you don't drive every morning, could be worse I suppose.

Re: Nursing At Keele 2012That's great!(Original post by abcx)

I went on a visit day too and I was looking at accomodations. There was no accessible public transport in Barnes, so I was just wondering what people are going to do.

Re: Nursing At Keele 2012Yeah I had a conditional through with pretty lenient conditions, cant say for sure but I do have a feeling il be firming come may(Original post by abcx)

I think the transports going to be a pain either way, just hope someone in your flat drives and is doing nursing or midwifery, that or a bike

Re: Nursing At Keele 2012I wont have much more then the bursary/loan/grant other then my pay-checks these next few months, im not sure if I can justify the insurance alone for uni, it would be great for community but I suppose otherwise its just 3 miles a day, having said that I would love to drive.(Original post by abcx)

Re: Nursing At Keele 2012I do feel the same about the whole insurance thing, I've saved hard for the money and I'm not sure I want to spend it for a car I could live without but I know it would make it so much easier at times.(Original post by Pep_)
