OMG I know...I was desperately waiting for Sam stuff and the citadel.I felt cheated. Though Varys showing up made my day.Must admit i love the Sand Snakes and even Victarions bits were awesome for me.

What do you think of Nathalie Dormer as Margery Tyrell???

They better cast properly for the Sand Snakes and Oberyn. This cersei is not particularly good casting IMHO.Lena is a great actress just not for this role.
 is what I think of Nathalie Dormer in general.

If they did the actual ages of the characters in the books then they'd be breaking all sorts of laws. Dany's supposed to be 14

Its never stated outright but Theon had his cock skinned right? What the hell is wrong with GRRM,that is just disgusting LOL.What kind of mind comes up with " the crowd were served unborn puppy on a stick"....Pure creative literary genuis or someone we have to fear. Dany is going to end up pregnant isn't she, if the last POV (which I thought sucked) is anything to go by. Its either Daario or Aegon who will betray her, for the third.

Sansa'a are typically very boring when there's no twists happening.

jon's, jaime's, tyrion's... all utterly boring and vain. I care soooooo little about what they're thinking and how they see the world because they are just THAT dull. I guess this is just about the first book, though? tyrion is thankfully a lot more tolerable earlier in the series... can't stand his self-absorbed nonsense later on. arya's are also terribly dull because her characterisation is the most predictable on the planet.

as for most interesting, I guess daenerys, I remember skipping ahead just to excitedly catch up with her when first reading. sansa's were frank and simple so they were very readable, and she tended to have some of the more intriguing insights that no other character would think of - she's unassuming and I love it.

oh my god, ned's were such a bore too. oh grrm.

I dunno, Mirri Maz Dur's prophecy/curse seemed pretty final and prophecies do seem to have a habit of coming true in these books. Also what do you think of Jon being Azor Ahai? I reckon he was born at Dragonstone to Ned's sister and Rhaegar, and if I remember rightly, there's something about being born in a place of fire and salt.

On a note about the last POV bit, the grim bit where he describes Dany ****ting.

I'm nearly done with the first book - and I've been finding Arya / Jon's stories the best so far, followed by the Targaryen's doing their thing.

    God Sansa annoys me

I sincerely doubt Jon is Azor Ahai...besides he has a bigger fate in store...what with being Lyana and Rhaegar's kid.He might even end up with Dany ....seeing as how they are related.he might even be a dragon ha ha ha wih black hair.
