Re: Healthy New You: Your Change For Life #2Well done!(Original post by xoxAngel_Kxox)
After six weeks of not losing so much as an ounce, I'm now another pound down
11st 5lbs now.
96lbs lost, 9lbs to go.
-
Just did four miles, I'd say I only jogged one mile of that but something is better than nothing I guess and it's the first real thing I've done since the shoulder fiasco.
Then got back and did lots of different exercises, sit ups, step ups, some arm stuff (using a big bottle of water as a weight!).
So feeling a little better now. Swim and gym tomorrow I think if I have time! Such a busy week coming up but I really want to do as much as possible before holiday next Tuesday!
I can't wait for ten days of relaxation and time to think about my next steps both in terms of healthy living and in terms of the future/jobs etc. -

Congrats! I am in awe a bit. Only managed one 5k once, was ecstatic! Working my way up to hopefully being able to do 5k regularly.(Original post by amizzle91)
Just did another 5k run
my hip doesn't hurt this time which is good I must be getting used to it

Not as if mine is worth much, it may be the few glasses of wine I have had this afternoon - but I read the post as if she had avoided some sort of magical treat 'draw'... like as in a lottery for sweets/chocolate
maybe that just happened at my old work?! I miss there.

Anyway on a different not actually had a good day will power wise especially with what was on "offer" let's say. First of all had a chicken roast, normally would pick and scavenge for the skin, however today resisted temptation and maxed on out veg- and left some on my plate, normally would've ploughed through despite feeling full. Left all the carbs at tea, did have a very small slice of herman raspberry and white choco cake though! Annnnnnnnnnnnnndddddd finally - nan came round with a box of Maltesears for me and my brother the share, sneakily gave them to him to consume and resisted
Ooops just seen how long this post is- nevermind

Re: Healthy New You: Your Change For Life #2I did use the wrong form and it is actually drawer as in tray form- no not a draw, this is completely voluntary to take from...unfortunately!(Original post by aliphatic)

I feel your pain.(Original post by Smoosh)
I
making meal plans for the week. I do, however, hate thinking of lunch ideas for the boyfriend who dislikes everything
I'm dreading this week, my boyfriends coming to stay while my parents are on holiday and he avoids vegetables/proper meals like the plague! Maybe I can convert him

We've been living together for a year, so I've been slowly introducing new foods to him, some which he's loved, and others which he still won't touch. There's just so many great foods that he doesn't like, makes it so difficult to make anything creative! -
That's the second time I've been begged accidently this week :/ my pretty green gems go bye byes(Original post by aliphatic)

and I'm worried about a few days!
I don't live with him (LDR while I'm in Leeds for uni) but when I graduate next year we will be living together and I'm really hoping he can sort his eating habits out or it'll just make me eat badly too

We were LDR for a year and a bit too
Yeah, it's annoying because I don't really like going to the effort of preparing us each a different meal, but at the same time I get sooo fed up of eating the food he likes because it's just so plain and "samey"
What I normally do is when I make something for myself, he tries a little bit, so if he doesn't like it, it's not a waste, but if he does, then we know for next time! Good luck!

Haha that's a good idea(Original post by Smoosh)

I know what you mean about it being samey, all he eats is pizza and chips and that sort of stuff. And hardly ever puts weight on! If I ate what he eats I'd put on like a stone
men, eh? I think I'll make him the same meals as me this week and see what he does. Like an experiment
Our LDR has been 2 years so far but we were together 4 years before that too. So hopefully moving out next year

I mean really, who doesn't like pizza?! Haha, I hate guys like that
Mine used to be the same, but for the last year or so his bad eating has really hit him and he's put on a lot of weight, even more reason for me to want him to eat healthy! Sounds like a good experiment
Aww, I bet it'll be great when you finally live together!
11st 5lbs now.
my hip doesn't hurt this time which is good I must be getting used to it
