Decided to cut my calorie intake down to 1200 per day; I've been on 1400 roughly but I decided to lower it to see results that bit quicker.

I'm going to go to a few yoga classes as well; I'm doing strength training alongside Cardio, but I've read that exercises such as Yoga help make muscles longer and leaner

    Also

Breakfast: An egg, one sausage and a rasher of bacon followed by a pro bio yoghurt

Lunch: Mixed salad, tomato soup followed by an Apple

    Snack: An Orange

Dinner: Grilled chicken with salad and I may have a weight watchers dessert later in the evening

It's Friday XD but yes I did have a fair bit to do. Wasn't on reception this morning though so I had time for breakfast AFTER setting up a meeting for 26 people with coffee and breakfast!

Just said goodbye to my boyfriend for at least six weeks. Not fun. Also food has been horrendous over the past few days due to graduating and going to a Chinese buffet to say goodbye to BF. Will have to do some serious exercise this next week to try and sort myself out a bit.

Rather pleased with myself today though, got so much done. Graduation photos printed, Mum's birthday presents bought and stashed, weekly shop done.. so all is good!

Don't you just love it when you make a healthy meal that fills you up and is soo tasty that you feel like you've almost cheated. Just made a spicy sweet potatoe and vegetable stew with grilled white fish fillet and I'm so full that i can barely move Looll. Bit irrelevant but I thought I'd share

Urgh, feel huge and bloated. All I can see is cellulite and stretchmarks at the moment. Sigh!

:console: Hope you're doing ok after saying goodbye! Must be tough. Will definitely strengthen you as a couple though I bet.

Feel your pain. Everyone gets it. Just try and remember how far you've come and try use it as motivation. Easier said than done I know! I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks and I'm dreading wearing a bikini still, even though I know I look a lot better than I did. Stupid girl mentality eh!

I'm not too bad at the moment, we usually go a couple of days without seeing each other anyway, it will probably sink in then. But it's the longest we'll have ever gone without seeing each other. Even when we split for three months last year we saw each other more often! But I know it's a huge opportunity for him, and there's no way he could ever turn it down, so I'm trying to play it down how I'm feeling; don't want to upset him.

Sounds like you're being brave! I did long distance for a while so I know it can be quite hard going. At least you've got a huge thread full of people here to rant to if needs be

Hey All, I am 16 and I want to be a Fashion Model. I am 6'0 tall and I am 12 stone. I am not 'built' but I have an Athletic body. Any advice on how I can naturally get a 'built' body in a way that will not effect my growth?
Any help would be much appreciated

What machinery at the gym would you recommend me using if I'm trying to lose weight, today is the first time I've been in a long while and I basically just did HIIT on the treadmill, cross trainer and rowing machine?? Thanks, I'm getting me plan written up tomorrow from someone who works at the gym but was just wondering for a second opinion.

You're doing essentially what you should be doing but cardio will only help shift so much of the weight, don't neglect the weights as it is very helpful in shifting that excess weight.

I'm not really a recipie kind of person I tend to just throw things together it was basically sweet potatoes, ginger, garlic, chilli, onions, mixed veg and little bit of tomato paste and spices thrown in a pot with some water to stew for about 20-30 mins and grilled the fish separately and that's it

So, after saying bye to my boyfriend yesterday morning, have said goodbye to my parents and brother who are off on holiday for a week. Hooray for working and not being able to get the time off! But on my own until Friday lunch time now. Fine during the day, HATE it at night time, but hey, not much I can do about it so just have to make the most of it and TRY not to snack the week away. Don't have too much junk in the house, and certainly have no money to buy any, so that should help matters. Parents were going to leave me money to treat myself, but I asked them not to as there's plenty of food in for me, and if they left me cash I'd only get a takeaway or something. So going to get lots of work done to take my mind off things.. and try and exercise to keep myself busy as well.

Porridge with dried apple, brown sugar an cinnamon for breakfast :yum:
I'm quite impressed that I've had porridge 5 days in a row, but haven't had the same topping twice.
