Am I the only male who doesn't watch football?
    No.

I find every single match boring.
If I was made to watch a whole match, that would be torture.
    Riveting story.

edit: Oh, did I touch a nerve, footie fans?

Here's another thing you'll hate me for the rest of your time on TSR for, why does somebody from the London borough of Chelsea support Manchester United, and why does somebody from Liverpool support Chelsea? *cough* glory hunters? *cough*...or is there a good reason?

Why are some of the people who've seen this edit and negged me, not answering my question about supporting teams?

...........An hour and a few more negs later...still no footie fan answeing my question about supporting a team in relation to where you live?
Because free will, which has allowed you to not like football, dictates that somebody can support whoever they want. For the record, I'm from London and I support Tottenham, but I wouldn't expect you to be up in arms if I supported Liverpool. I didn't neg you because I disagreed with you, I negged you because you trolled a thread appallingly badly.

City v Utd last season was a boring cautious 0-0 draw, but was much hyped given City's emergence and signings.

(Original post by should be revising)
Probably not the most boring ever, but does anyone remember the 0-0 draw between Wolves and Birmingham in the FA cup at the start of January? It was just the most boring and plodding game I have ever seen.
I concur, and as if that wasn't bad enough I proceeded to squander 90 further minutes of my life watching the replay which only surpassed the appalling nature of the first game when we lost.

    ****ing dreadful.

Surprised nobody's mentioned it yet ... 2003 UEFA Champions League final. Milan 0-0 Juventus after extra time. I almost fell asleep in the middle of it, literally nothing of consequence happened in two hours and the penalties were pretty terrible too from what I remember. For such a big game this one really blew.

I find any English premiership game boring. I always hear about how the EPL is the best league in the world, with the best teams in the world. What it really is, is a league full off incredibly overrated teams, with overrated players who like to play "Punt ball" that's all it is punt after punt up the park while two English commentators cream themselves over an English player or Gareth Bale. Boring!.

That match where they kicked a ball around a field for 90 minutes.

France v Romania at Euro 2008. France played like a bunch of 35 year olds who were tired of playing football with each other, typical of France under Domenech really (especially frustrating team to watch consideing the talent they had), and Romania were...well, don't know what the hell they were doing. There was probably 1 attempt on target all game. Took a 2-hour break from revising for exams for the match, should have just carried on revising tbh.

Not the worst overall 90 mins but probably the most boring half I've seen is the second half of the Arsenal-Porto from 2006. The first half was actually quite entertaining but the second half was a farce. Both teams needed a point and so Porto basically spent 45 minutes passing it around in their half and Arsenal refused to close them down.

Man City 0 - 0 PSG in the UEFA Cup a couple years ago. I think there was one shot on target, and Kezman got a yellow card. A while after I had booked to see it, Rovers were away to Man Utd on the same night and lost 5-3 in the League Cup.

I was trying to think of one not so recent and quite significant but I guess I just forget them as they bore me so much. With this in mind, I'll give it to yesterdays game between Liverpool and Spurs. Expected so much entertainment but trned out to be a boredom- neither keeper didn't have much to do.

Its the best league in the world because:

    1. The different styles of football

    2. The competitiveness throughout the league (not like la liga where Barcelona, Real Madrid get easy wins).

    3. The pace and physicality (every player is usually under pressure as soon as they get the ball, thats why foreign players find it hard to adjust to the english game).

I watch alot of football and there's no other league that just cuts it around the world. Aswell as the Bigger teams playing more attackive It just adds to it.

    Messi-esque.

Oh for the question, any MLS game is horrendous. The crowd is virtually dead with no chants other than "let's go (insert team name)"

Newcastle v Crystal Palace. (0-0) The highlight of the game was the cheers for the paper aeroplanes that landed on the pitch.

Also Sunderland's last ever game at Roker Park v Blackburn (0-0) absolutely dross.

What because you expected to get an easy win? It wasnt a bad game, just you struggled to beat us. and tbh, you should have beat us alot easier than you did, because at. that time of the season are defense was dire.
