Am I the only male who doesn't watch football?
I find every single match boring.
If I was made to watch a whole match, that would be torture.

edit: Oh, did I touch a nerve, footie fans?

Here's another thing you'll hate me for the rest of your time on TSR for, why does somebody from the London borough of Chelsea support Manchester United, and why does somebody from Liverpool support Chelsea? *cough* glory hunters? *cough*...or is there a good reason?

Why are some of the people who've seen this edit and negged me, not answering my question about supporting teams?

...........An hour and a few more negs later...still no footie fan answeing my question about supporting a team in relation to where you live?
wow you really hate being negged don't you lol

Went to a mid-week match in October Leicester V Middlesborough a few years ago. It was absolutely freezing, very low turnout, virtually no m'boro fans - I wonder why! Incredibly dull, 0-0. I only went as a friend had a spare ticket that night. Fortunately, although I was quite young, it didn't put me off football! Coincidentally, my brother went to Leicester v M'boro last week, it was about -3C, but at least it was quite a good match!

I find any English premiership game boring. I always hear about how the EPL is the best league in the world, with the best teams in the world. What it really is, is a league full off incredibly overrated teams, with overrated players who like to play "Punt ball" that's all it is punt after punt up the park while two English commentators cream themselves over an English player or Gareth Bale. Boring!.
You are clearly a Celtic fan so can't exactly slag off the standard of our league....the SPL is one of the most boring and uneven in the world...it's dire!

In my opinion, the most boring match was the 0-0 draw between Man City and Man U last season.

There was a lot of hype in the build up to the match, many called it the game of the season, but city never played to win the game they looked too happy to get a point against their neighbours. The only city player who wanted to win that game was Tevez but no other city player was ready to take any risk.

Man U wanted to win the game but city weren't prepared to let them play. I was very much anticipating this game but at the end of the day it was an extremely dull game. The best moment of the game was a Tevez freekick which VDS saved.

I totally agree with your second point but it's fairly obvious. There is little need to point that out and it is not a large proportion of football fans. Most of us support one of our local sides. Your obviously trolling and looking to cause controversy anyway.

Man City v Birmingham last season. It was dull. 0 - 0 and hardly any chances on goal. Think Birmingham played a 1-10 formation. Didnt make entertaining to watch at all.

Or there was the season when Stuart Pearce was in charge at city and we scored 10 goals at home all season. The home matches that whole season were pretty dull. It also made MOTD pointless as we was always on last!

    Is that for real?

That was possibly one of the better 0-0's ive seen, Arsenal played some amazing football, we had well over 20 shots in that game (true city didnt have one shot) and hit the wood work several times,

So definetely not the most boring lol
Arsenal didn't play badly, I just was hoping for it to be a real contest where it seem there was a lack of ambition from City to win the game. Got pumped up for a top of the table clash and nothing came of it.

Because free will, which has allowed you to not like football, dictates that somebody can support whoever they want. For the record, I'm from London and I support Tottenham, but I wouldn't expect you to be up in arms if I supported Liverpool. I didn't neg you because I disagreed with you, I negged you because you trolled a thread appallingly badly.

Yes, anybody can support any team, where exactly did I say you can't?
No, it's not a troll post, it's a very legitimate question.

What because you expected to get an easy win? It wasnt a bad game, just you struggled to beat us. and tbh, you should have beat us alot easier than you did, because at. that time of the season are defense was dire.
No, it wasn't just the actual match (which was pretty uneventful). I also had a bunch of tween dickheads behind me not even watching the match and a pesimistic, fat bastard next to me. Kind of ruined my expectations

It's hard to attract good players to a league where all 12 teams combined get less money than Norwich City get from Tv Money. Plus don't slag Celtic you lot are fighting tooth and nail to stop us and ranger joining the EPL because you know we would tear it apart when we got the same money as most EPL teams and before you try and argue that rangers drew 0-0 vs man unt last season with a team costing very little.

Most games at World Crap 2002 almost put me off football for life such as some of Germany and Turkey's boring 1-0 wins or the blatant Korea fixed results.

Did you watch the 2005 champions league final? Liverpool vs Arsenal from 2009, Newcastle vs Arsenal last year, Chelsea vs Man U the other day, etc?

No, the only whole match I've watched was Arsenal V Man U (or Chelsea, I don't remember), I think this was around 2005 or 2006, it was a final. The match ended with a draw, so they had to go to penalties and Arsenal won.
The penalties was the only moment of the whole game where I felt the suspense and excitement, but for the rest of the game, like any other football match, I got bored the **** out of me.

Do you mean a 10-1 formation, or were birmingham actually playing that attacking?
