    Course: French and Spanish
    Offer: ABB
Which accommodation are you thinking of?: John Foster, self-catered ensuite
    Other offers: Liverpool, BBB
A-Levels: BBCC (currently, I'm resitting some)
    AS Grades(optional): ABBBB

This is my second time applying here, I didn't do too well last time as you can see, so I'm really worried because I don't really want to go to Liverpool, I love Leicester so much
Good Luck ! I'm doing a similar course (European Studies with french and spanish)
so hope to see you there !
I'm sure you'll do well this time
are you taking French and Spanish at A2 ?

Will be firming Leicester pretty soon - definitely the perfect medical school for me . Offer situation is pretty weird - applied for 2011 (got put on the waiting list) and then post-results day they offered me place for 2012, just told me to re-apply through UCAS (which allowed me to add 3 other choices, so just waiting for them) will 100% be firming Leicester though.

    Course: Medicine
    Offer: AAA
Which accommodation are you thinking of?: Clearly the most popular - John Foster: En-suite & Self Catered
Other offers: None - but whose counting
A-Levels: AAAEa (E was in General Studies :yep:)
AS Grades(optional): ABBBD (I'm sure you can guess the D :smartass:)

Can't wait to start - heard medics get a pre-medic freshers week before the actual freshers which sounds pretty awesome. Look forward to seeing some of you in September (feel free to drop a line and say hey)

    Take it easy

The accommodation office told me they plan to open the application site to 2012 NEW undergraduates in march and this was confirmed in the email I received from Leicester after I firmed them in February. I have a feeling that we will be able to apply after the UCAS open days have finished..... Not sure when this exact date is but I know that for my department (communication and media) their last day is March 28th (Wednesday) hope this helps I'm off to lecister next saturday (10th) and will be definitely be asking then!

i emailed the accomodation services asking the same question... here is the reply which was sent to me on 02/03/12

'You will not be able to register or apply for accommodation until applications open online. We anticipate that applications will open over the next week, and would advise that you continue to check our website (www.le.ac.uk/accommodation) for further information regarding this.'

so im assuming they will open it at somepoint this week, hopefully

My current situation is unlucky if i'm honest! I've already done the other 2 A levels last year (Media Studies and History) and got a B in both of them.

I am currently taking Geography this year in which I got a D last year. Leicester gave me an offer of an A that is needed from geography this year. (So basically ABB like everyone else)

Didn't go to university last year because my teacher messed up and didn't send one of my coursework modules and complications with ucas/involved unis began. So here I am being an external student only doing one A level at the moment!

I'm not sure if i'll be fine tbh. Think I got a C overall atm with only one more exam to take. Might have to retake the 2 exams I just did. Sigh. Still waiting on my teacher's response with her opinion :/

Oh yeah that makes sense then. One thing I think everyone realises when they start alevels is how rubbish teachers can be. Unfortunate that your teacher messed up your c/w but I reckon with hard work you could secure that A. & if not, Leicester have said to be really lenient with their admissions e.g. if you miss your offer by one grade you can still get in. Thats what I'm banking on anyways loool. You looked at accomodation yet?
