Dani, I actually prefer Reese's pieces to Peanut Butter M&Ms; though Pretzel eminems take some beating. The dark-bagged choc-rasp ones were not overly great in my opinion, it tasted like dark chocolate with, you know that chemical-like Raspberry slushpuppie taste?

    ANYWAY!!

SPIED TODAY IN TESCO, DID NOT BUY BECAUSE IT JUST SEEMED LIKE ABSURD OVERKILL:

Blurry pic, but it's their "British Chicken, Sausages and Stuffing" sandwich. The side describes it as:

"Savoury chicken mayonnaise with spiced cumberland sausages and a pork, sage and bacon stuffing in wholewheat bread"

    NEED MOAR MEAT?

SPIED IN TODAY'S METRO, WILL DEFINITELY BUY TOMORROW:

Coupon for a free Magnum Classic when you buy any Magnum Infinity! BOOYAH!

Plus, SPIED DID BUY BECAUSE I AM TWENTY SEVEN BUT SCREW YOU WORLD:

And would you believe it, I got the craptacular tennis guy.

If it helps, I'm totally heading to poundland tomorrow to buy some of those now.
I will eat them on behalf of all of us, beetles and all. But don't worry, out of thought for you, I'll pay with the dirtiest, oldest, most mucky pound I can find.

    (Original post by TotoMimo)
I had them a wee bit ago, and it's maybe painful for you to hear, but they're one of the most wholly satisfying M&Ms variants I have EVER eaten.

    Hope this helps.

    ...
    You guys are mean :ashamed2:
Me and my friend were in Poundland today and she said she got some yesterday and they were "soooo good". I kinda figured they'd be immense. Oh well.

At least I did pick up 3 Snickers Crunchers for £1!

I've had them before though, they are ok. Just got them for novelty value while I could!
(That reminds me Toto, I still have to track down some Cartoonies which STILL EXIST! I SWEAR TO GOD!)

Did they actually taste crunchier or is it just a gimmick?

Also Toto, really?! PB M&M's are softer and bigger, Reeces Pieces are good and all, but they're pretty hard and crunchy. And smaller. No one likes chocolate that's smaller. But kudos on the pretzel m&m's. Taste good mixed with chocolate buttons and raisins.

Yeah, it's totally different. It's more crispy than anything - there's crisped rice in it, and more peanuts, but there's no nougat. Also there's less caramel - so it doesn't dribble out (which is a shame). So it's like a block of tightly packed peanuts and crispy rice, stuck together with caramel. I still prefer the original but it's nice for a change

Plus nothing beats these bad boys:

I like reeses pieces for the same reason I prefer smarties to milk choc m&ms; thicker, crunchier shell to choc ratio!

I see! To both of you

Spied ASDA Milk Chocolate and Pecan popcorn (its not new but it's the first time I've seen it!). Bought it, well, just because. And it's okayyy and all, but as usual with over the top popcorn, it was a triumph of description over substance, it was just pecans with toffee popcorn drizzled in chocolate. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but the pecanscould have been more dispersed or stuck to the popcorn. Still, I enjoyed it. Yay for ASDA.

Also spied in Tesco down the juice and smoothie aisle, a whole range of new juices and smoothies. They're called Tesco's 'Juice Bar' and they're like 250ml (I think?). Currently 5 for £4. Didn't buy but they have quite a range...
Green Stuff flavour: Kiwi, apple and wheatgerm smoothie
Rootin' Fruitin' flavour: Pineapple, mango and carrot smoothie
Cubanito flavour: lemon with a hint of mint.
    Deuce flavour: Strawberries and cream
    Coconut juices and loads more.

Dani, those wee juice bar dealies have been going for a while, the H2COCO one is yum if you love coconut!

But I have to say the one called "GREEN STUFF" scares me. Spinach, Ginger and Wheatgerm?

    er....

Okay, so it's ASDA so it probably isn't "new"

It's probably been in Tesco since 1984..but, they were called Hot Pots by Hunger breaks

Re: Food and Drink: Spy It... Buy It?
Went back to buy one today, but upon closer inspection, they're not noodles but some kind of instant meal in one. Theres chicken tikka and rice, chip shop chicken curry and rice beef mince and pasta a chili one and sweet and sour. Probably about 300 calories a pot. But..they looked like i'd eat them in about, five minutes. Which is no fun. NO BUY.

Urgh, I HATE when you get something that looked badass in your mind's eye, then you go back to buy it and you're like "Damn. This was cooler when it was in my head."

    SPIED DID BUY:

ROCKY CHOCKA COOKIES (again). This time I decided to buy them as Tesco are doing them for a quid. SEVEN biscuits though? That's a weird number, nah??

AND: NESTLE-ROWNTREES "PICK AND MIX". I got a couple from the range including a baby bag of Smarties and a Rowntrees Gummy Alien:

WHICH TO REVIEW FIRST!! *scratches crap-beard*

    SPIED AND DIDN'T BUY;

An interesting mix. "CHIXX'S TASTE OF THE WORLD" - these premium-looking bags all represent Chixx's (how do you even say that? Chicks? Chikksees?) take on chicken from around the globe, including American Southern Fried Wings, Indian Madras Goujons and Italian Pesto Nuggets. Apparently other varieties exist but not in MY tesco!

And this Polish "Tymbark" glass-bottled drink, which caught my eye for being "MINT WITH APPLE" flavour. Weird. I cannot imagine that working.

Ooh I think mint and apple might be quite nice? Will give it a go once I have access to a bigger Tesco. I'll report back soon.

I only have a Tesco Express in walking distance to me. It's such a fail, has none of this cool new stuff. Or the offers of big tesco, went there today especially for Alpen bars. Not even on offer. Swines.

Just Cadbury Clusters really. But every time I see the name my brain registers it as "Crispy Sex". Every time. :erm:
