Adapted Accommodation and Year 2 and beyond

Hey, just a quick question.
If someone requires adapted accommodation and obtains it in the first year, do they have to move out for the second year and beyond if this is what their University normally does with other non-disabled students?

I think it depends a lot on the uni, but it's often possible to stay on in accommodation after the first year for medical or disability reasons, especially if it's because you need adaptations which you aren't likely to find easily in the private sector. The best thing to do, though, is to check with the individual Uni, as only they can really tell you exactly what the situation would be.

There is nothing that says as a second or third year student, you can't live in halls.

Ok thanks, I'll check with the respective unis
