Hi there, wow congrats!! I have an offer at South to study Adult/Children's nursing, so excited!!! Is South your first place, what did you think of the uni? Have you applied/heard from anywhere else?

Yeah i am sept entry too! i have firmed it as its my first choice, i cant wait either!!

Yeah so am I! Can't wait to finish college and move away from home.. Have you sorted out all your finance/halls yet? I've just literally done mine, but unsure if I've done it right or not haha..

The worst thing is when you have finished college and you have the whole summer to wait for, luckily i worked but it was still annoying as you have to wait so long. For me it went slow as i finished college in june and didnt move into halls till the end of september

Hiya olanike,

First off, good luck!! If you're doing the dual field, my advice would be to pick out key points that you've learnt from reading the journals - if they have given you some to read? I can't remember what questions we were asked exactly but I didn't write enough about child nursing in my interview and they changed it to adult only, which I'm still really happy about tho! I only remember the spaces weren't very large, so try to write down exact key points which you think nursing relates to and try not to waffle, like I did heh!
the maths questions were ok, a bit hard, in the sense that they took me a bit of time to get them all done but they're definitely not impossible. They were just basic arithmetic questions from what I remember!

Just speak up without talking over anybody else in the interview and make sure you pitch in to whatever discussion is going on, and you'll be just fine!
Honestly when the day is done you'll have done fine!

Yeah I'm literally at the same stage as you then. I even applied for the same halls aswell, so hopefully that'll all go well. Umm yeah I'm more than likely to go tbh, we're just considering how much it's going to cost because we want to go up for a few days, and get to know the area.. I would join the fb group, but at the time being I've deleted my account because of exams coming up.. Plus the fact I don't even have a laptop atm and only get to check my emails etc at work, which is a pain! You're going on the 19th, right?
