I've always owned toshiba laptops and they've been great. Our loan laptops are Toshiba's too.
Just download AVGFree and Malwarebytes and you'll be fine.
I think half the female population of UWIC will be having computer malfunctions.
If i get in ill be getting a MBP too

Re: Cardiff met / uwicIt's not just the ladies who break things, guys do too! I think by the end of their time here, every single student comes to the help desk at least once. In the case of you guys, it'll be daily for the first few months it seems!(Original post by parry_93)

On the plus side, there will be a newbie there in my place who won't know all the quirks of our computers there, so they'll be even more confused by you! -

The one that uwic does for like 200 quid or something?(Original post by MyEuphoria)
I am not officially studying Complementary Therapies and living in Plas Gwyn from September. Received all my offers through this week!
Is anyone going to get a Metrider bus pass thing? I'm trying to figure out if it'll seem worth it or not..

Re: Cardiff met / uwicIt works out cheaper than buying a pass from Cardiff Bus directly and works on any bus in Cardiff, not just the metrider buses. I'd say unless you plan on walking everywhere it probably will pay for itself over a year.(Original post by MyEuphoria)
