WOW! u smahed it!! and are you talking about the question packs on the alevelchem website??? and no problem... have u got any tips..u seem to be doing really well!
Thanks, I'm being cautiously optimistic. Yes those question packs are legendary! They're really good for practice and getting used to the exam layout. I have no guarantee I'm doing well :/ I just didn't get very good January module results so have just been doing solid chemistry for ages now, really need that A. In fact could you give me tips for F325? It's pretty scary

Thanks mate that second arrow that I drew they will probably think I'm trying to show them the distance between the reactants and x axis don't u think but I definately labelled the correct one so it should be ok? N I had a look at June 2009 and that was 75 for an A so I'm thinking this may b that to or maybe 74? Wt u suggest and for the bond angle of ethene I put trigonal planar 3 bonded pairs 120 degrees and lone pairs repel more than bonded pairs u reckon I'll get all 3 marks here?

if you mentioned electron pairs you get the third mark

Oh crap I didn't I said trigonal planar 120 and 3 bonded pairs no lone pairs I thought that would have been enough? N when it said why does methane cause global warming did u have to talk about the bonds as I said the bonds vibrate and pass on their kinetic energy to neighbouring molecules and they release heat energy u think I'll get 2 for that

Yes but did u have to specify that the C-H bond vibrate u think ??

no thats fine brilliant you get the marks
you had to say bonds vibrate , due to absorption of infra red radiation

U probably could have mentioned about that they pass on their kinetic energy to neighbouring molecules causing them to emit heat? This could also b a Mark could it?

yes that is fine but it was 2 marks anyways so you are secured for 2 marks

What do u think the boundaries will b and what range do u think u are in in terms of marks?

    77 for A
    68 for B
    59 for C
    50 for D
41 for E seems resonable in my opinion due to the tricky questions

hmm i think boundaries for A would be less than 77 marks for sure ! and for B grade i think around 68 marks , well i dont know how much i will be getting cause it depends on the official mark scheme but a rough estimate i think around 76-83 marks

WherE is the unofficial Mark scheme could u send me the link for it please! And I am in doubt as to whether I said they absorb infrared radiation but I still could get my 2 marks for saying the bonds vibrate and pass on their extra kinetic energy causing more heat to be emitted in the atmosphere? I think it will be 75 for an A or maybe 74

Ok guys going to look through the 'unofficial mark scheme' and count up by marks, I may commit suicide during the process. I really shouldn't do this. Here we go. HAHAHA. :'(

    ___
where do I find how many marks for each question? :s
