It depends what you got on your coursework. I got 62 () last year on F321, but didn't really want to resit it, so worked harder for F322 and got an A.

To get an A, you need 171 UMS between your coursework and this exam, so 171/210. To get an A*, you only need to average 90% at A2. You can, theoretically, get 60% at AS, and 100% at A2, and come out with an A* overall! Good luck!
    thankyou, you too!

Do we need to know about all the uses and how to form supercritical Co2? because it says in the specification that it is "not examinable" :s

i'm not sure if that's fast or not wouldn't usain bolt do it in like 16minutes if you average his 10seconds per 100metres?

but never the less 6 miles requires some dedication and strong mental physique so fair play bro, and 65 out of a 100 isnt too bad people usually make the mistake of just doing pastpapers that does nothing but see how you cope with the question you also have to go over the areas you did bad in and revise that section then redo and get 100% none of this i want an A nonsense TSR students aim for 100% hahah

and isn't dynamic equilibria when the forward reaction and reverse reaction reach the same rate thus one reaction does not overcome the other in terms of rate?
    lool true.100% is always great..

peeps, you know for the enthalpy change of formation questions do you always draw the cycles (do you have to) or can you just use products - reactants equation and same for the combustion ones (reactants-products)

Could someone ask me questions? please, ran out of papers to do, including the legacy ones :/ will return the favour!
Why is the enthalpy change negative for exothermic, and vice versa for endo?

Why is the enthalpy change negative for exothermic, and vice versa for endo?
Exothermic is when the substance has lost energy to the surroundings, hence enthalpy change is negative. Endothermic is when the substance has absorbed energy, hence enthalpy change is positive.

What is the standard definition for enthalpy change of reaction.

How are CO and NO harmful.

CO is harmful as it binds with the Haemoglobin in our Red Blood Cells. This means that Oxygen in unable to bind to Haemoglobin in our Red Blood cells, meaning a reduction in the amount of Oxygen supplied to tissues

NO is harmful as it is used to create Low Level Ozone as it reacts with Unburnt Hydrocarbons and increase the amount of pollutants and low levels can asthmatics

Sorry only just seen this and wasn't sure if you got an answer. Not quite sure what you mean. An alcohol is primary/ secondary/ tertiary depending on the amount of other carbon the carbon bonded to the OH group. In a cyclone all Carbons are bonded to another two carbons so are secondary alcohols and are oxidized to make ketones.
Oh okay in the textbook it says primary is when the OH group is attached to a carbon with one or no alkyl groups etc

Basically ozone screens out all all UV-c and most of UV-b, but trace amounts of UV-a. Im not too sure of if you NEED to know the wavelengths.

what are the advantages of using catalysts
    - saves energy
    -higher atom econony
    -produces no toxic gases
    - fossil fuels last for longer
    - DOES NOT GET USED UP
