    got it thanks
    recessive- phenotype is expressed and not present with dominant allele
    epistasis is the interaction of gene loci and masks the expression of another gene loci

    yeah, pretty much right. this is the mark scheme:

    filter (to remove fungus) ;
    fungus washed (to remove penicillin) ;
    continuous countercurrent / chemical extraction ;
    concentration ;
    addition of potassium ions ;
    precipitate crystals / (potassium) salts ;
    solvents used to purify penicillin ;
    AVP ; e.g. dried, some are chemically modified, 99.5% pure

    and in response to your question I have no idea? because no lactose is present? idk
    It is because the bacteria will take up the lactose and break it down into glucose (remeber E.coli in the Lac Operon?) This means that there is no lactose present anymore. :')

    reverse transcriptase although technically it doesn't convert it, it just makes a complementary DNA strand so you're left with mRNA AND DNA
    Okay thank you!

    more resistance, mutation ,pass on to offspring advatageous alleles , can become resistant to anitibioitic conjugation , can cause more bacterias to divide?

    explain what is meant by gene therapy
    it is a therapeutic treatment where an allele that causes the disease is replaced with another allele that cures the ill/disease

    This module is so hard :/ Can someone explain to me in depth what germline therapy and somatic therapy is? I slightly get the somatic but not the germline. And also the DNA probing and stuff is really confusing I need a lot of help :/ Please try not to explain from the textbook because I don't get it reading it from their so as much in your own words please.
