What's the difference between homeobox and homeotic genes? Do Drosophilia have both?

Isnt the normal ratio for a dyhybrid cross 9:3:3:1? or is it always different?

    Whats the real answer?

I got 3:3:2 ... it has to be that since you are crossing heterozygous with bbEe (thats a weird combination)
For that question i got 6 : 6 : 4, my answer is the same as yours but double everything! haha.. have i dont it wrong? or have you been tought to cancel down or something? really strange!

I am terrified, I've made the mistake of putting F215 revision to late on. considering I have an exam tomorrow I doubt I'll be able to properly revise before hand.
I'm just hoping the fact I have perfected F214 will save me! Shame it's so small though!

A D will get me the B I need overall. I can't really get an A since I need 145/150 UMS minimum to get one overall which is impossible since I'm leaving revision till the day before the exam :l

    Define hemizygous
Is that the same as homozygous?

    Define hemizygous
Homozygous is when both alleles are the same. For Example, if B codes for Brown eyes then BB, or bb will be classed as homozygous. Not sure wth hemizygous is so im just thinking you meant homozygous. Heterozygous is when the alleles are different. E.g Bb.

    Define hemizygous
Hemizygous is only having one copy of an allele. So in humans makes are Hemizygous for sex linked genes found on the X chromosome as they only have 1 X

I think it is where only 1 allele is present, e.g X chromosome alleles in a male human.
