Is there really a need for a Religion section on TSR?

All it does is cause anger between the Muslims and everyone else. People can believe in whatever they want but on this site, it causes pointless arguments.

Maybe we should divide the religion thread into sections, and make the muslims post at the back only.

edit: how can you not see that this is a joke AGAINST people criticising muslims... Don't you know who Rosa Parks is?

If there wasn't a subforum for it, people would still debate it, they would just the threads in Philosophy or Society instead.

Most of the Islamic threads are started by non-Muslims. You can hardly expect Muslims not to respond.

No amount of categorising and organising is going to stop people from creating threads. If nowhere else, they'll just start them in General Chat.

Yes. It's about religion isn't it? If you don't want to get involved don't use it?

Reasonable conversation and discussion about religion does actually occur on this site, so I highly doubt it would be fair to close down the Religion section of TSR just because there are some who aren't too fond of the Muslim stereotype.
Besides, there's nothing wrong with a little heated debate!

What about Theology students who wish to debate rationally? Should they lose out because of the trolls?

Theology isn't a real academic subject, duh.
