Most of the Islamic threads are started by non-Muslims. You can hardly expect Muslims not to respond.

Reasonable conversation and discussion about religion does actually occur on this site, so I highly doubt it would be fair to close down the Religion section of TSR just because there are some who aren't too fond of the Muslim stereotype.
