I never really looked in much detail
My friend's Dad who worked for McLaren for a few years then RBR got a Mercedes with McLaren (although they were McLaren Mercedes at that point) and I can't remember what he had with RBR but it was still a decent car. He wasn't a higher-up either, when the teams had to cut down to 450 staff he got made redundant. -

F1 is not about the salary all engineers will have a good salary but F1 is about those couple of milliseconds that all important goal and refining until you have it to a tee and get podium then you for refine some more ! If you are worrying about salary maybe F1 isn't the career for you maybe just an engineer is because as someone aspirin to work in F1 salary never crosses my mind I couldn't care less to be honest

We do have a graduate program at LF1, but I don't think it's ever placed anyone outside of design/vehicle performance so far. Maybe still worth a go though?
