B2- absolutely dreading these. Well maybe not so much now that I've just accepted failure.
C2- better than B2, but I think I made some really sloppy errors and dropped silly marks. The grade boundaries will be high too
P2- couldn't give one about. Hate physics.
Business Studies- my specialist subject but I think I really flopped the exam.

Needless to say, I'm enjoying my last few lessons in top set for Science

If B2 was really hard and that many people thought it was, then they'll lower the boundaries, so you've probably done better than you think!

I just have an English Language & English Literature exam results coming out in March. They're Edexcel, are they still out on the 8th?

If so, how did you find the exam?

Finally - other students feeling the same amount of anxiety as I do! I shall be awaiting

English language (Writer's voice) - Edexcel
    Chem. unit 2 - AQA
    Maths - OCR
    History Paper 2 - OCR
    Geography Unit 1 re-take - AQA

I know someone has said that all the results come out on the same day, because a lot of my teachers are saying that they aren't. Sorry, but I am just confused.
Also, good luck to all waiting for their results too. I hope you get the grades you wanted.

I'm also getting results for my Geography DME exam, which is worth 25%.

I've forgotten exactly what it was, when I leave an exam all knowledge surrounding it remains in my seat haha!

All I remember was that we had a poem... Where is Lulu.. or something along those lines. Along with 2x poems from the anthology?

It was really tough and i sat Of Mice and men(essay) and Animal Farm(4 part question). One question was so tough my teacher said there wasn't really much you cod pick out.It was a resit for me so if i have failed i have at least an A for this exam and A* for the coursework (48/50-awaiting moderation ).What year are you in?-I'm in Y10.I'm taking the poetry exam in the summer.

I'm in Y11 and luckily I only had 1 January exam, my English Lit poetry paper (Edexcel.)
I have a feeling I really flunked it though, so fingers crossed.

Yeah I did the exactly the same texts!

I didn't think OMAM was too bad (although it was by no means straight forward!)
And Animal Farm was just another story altogether! I didn't even know Dreams were a theme in Animal Farm!!! :/
Also, the extract they gave had no devices in, and I struggled to find good things to say about Major!

    I wanted an A* as well :/

I'm Year 11, and am also sitting the poetry exam in the summer. I sat Language (the writers voice) in June 2011.

Yep, Animal Farm was the hard part and my teacher said 1b(how the language is used to create an impression of man in the extract) was very hard with so little to talk about. If everyone struggled you will get more marks even if they were weak answers. For language devices i went for simple ones like
verbs, nouns, adverb, adjectives instead of metaphors and onomatopoeia. What are you studying in English now?-I'm analysing the spoken language of Dizzee Rascal, Jeremy Paxman,Francesco Schettino and Gregorio De Falco for English Language.I finih English Language ad Literature in Y10 and move on to Film Studies, where appntly you watch a video clip IN AN EXAM ...
