There are only a few things that I can say in my life I have had the privilege to witness or do. One of them is to have seen Sachin Tendulkar play, the greatest batsman apart from Don Bradman.

Look at these stupid posts. Then you wonder why Indian fans are hated. *facepalm*
Don't see anything exceptionally stupid about the posts. I agree that the whole 'Sachin is the most entertaining player ever' tag is just wrong IMO. Also don't think that any of the innings shown were extraordinary.

However, its all a matter of opinion, no?

Also, didn't see anything wrong with Cricindia's article about Kohli. Maybe a bit over-hyped. But what can be expected with crazy Indians?

Kohli's far from over hyped - someone like Rohit Sharma I'd agree with, but Kohli just oozes class. His ODI record proves it, he's been by far the best ODI batsman in the world for the past 18 months or so. Only just needs a decent run in the test side before he starts producing numbers like that in the test arena as well.

Whoa, I understand the hype around Kohli, but I can also understand from a non-Indian POV, how the Indians at times, go overboard with their praise and appreciation of a player!

I'm a huge fan of Kohli, and yeah, it's pretty obvious that he's been doing well, with his records compared to any of his contemporaries, globally. He's only 23, and achieved a lot (I mean, 4 100s in 5 innings?), but he's still got a way to go. I'm just sick to death of watching him punish SL. Want to see him up against SA, Aus, Eng. Actually anyone but SL.

Him playing Test cricket is the real test. ODIs really, don't mean much. I mean yeah, I like watching them, but the ultimate is Test Cricket. Your talent, temperament, skill, everything is tested.

Regarding Kohli - didn't see the article, don't care. He's a prick but he's a damn damn good player even though I've had my doubts in the past, I'm happy to admit.

And yeah opinions but it seems some Indians 'opinions' are just full on bias and makes them look pathetic

Opps I forgot we should completely forget the the SA tour in which Sachin had success in just talk about his failure in Australia and England cause they were the only tours in 2011 right?

Interestingly enough his record in Sri Lanka is pretty poor - his ODI average there is the lowest out of all the countries he's played in. So I'll be interested in seeing how he gets along in the rest of the series. But yeah I agree I'm getting bored at the amount of times India are playing Sri Lanka - they seem to play each other in an ODI series like twice a year.

Good point about Test but I don't think he'll have a huge problem adjusting from ODIs to Test. There's not many batsman who do worse in Tests than ODI - Dhoni's an exception but his ODI record is hugely inflated by the number of not outs he gets due to his role of finisher in the team.

I'm not hating on the Indian team you ****ing illiterate **** I'm hating on the fans. If you go back a few pages you'd see I actually defend the team!

And no Sachin is one of my favourite players, he's NOT entertaining. He's a great, the greatest for me. Oh read the posts I don't think anybody was talking about his batting, it was entertaining you idiot.

Good. Na, most articles about him make me cringe, 'cos they just go overboard with praise. He's great and all, but like I said before, the biggest test will be how his Test career shapes out as well as how long he can maintain his good form. Every player has their ups and downs of form, but still, want to see how it'll go for him.

That's true. I've also seen some pathetic Indian fans on twitter sending abuse to Vaughan and Bumble's twitter accounts, and it just makes all us Indian fans look stupid, illiterate, and just look as if we don't know how cricket works. Embarrassing tbh.

Kohli's form really flourished after the WC. All of his games played in SL were either the series of his debut, or the 2010 series. So yeah, he's learnt and improved so much since then.

I don't understand why we do play them so much. I mean, we had the Aus tri-series, then Asia Cup, now this series. I mean, wtf. I'm bored of it. Not even paying attention to this series 'cos it hold no meaning. You only enjoy games when you actually care about the verdict. Whether India win or lose, series hold no real value!

    We'll see.

Also I was talking about the fans so why would you bring the team into the discussion you buffoon. Run along now

With posts as the one quoted, it seems as if my point of certain Indian posters being god damn idiotic is true

Rohit Sharma has got to die now. I will lead the assassination team. Who is with me?

We would probably become national heroes

Was surprised Rahul Sharma was allowed to play after the news about him recently. Bowled decently and got the important wicket of Mahela. Should he have been playing though?

Another magnificent century for Virat Kohli 1000 runs in ODIs this year.
