Err Raz, I was being sarcastic at that idiot above me that said most of India's batsmen have been in good form. Sehwag's form extended to five matches and Rohit was wildly inconsistent throughout (though I appreciate it's very difficult to be consistent in a T20 league). And they were two of the better players. Not sure if Rahane would get in the team, but he seemed to fade towards the end of the campaign, and whenever I saw, feasted off rubbish bowlers. Gambhir was phenomenal though. Absolutely outstanding.

Haha I was about to say all the players you named were in terrible form! Yeah Gambhir is the key to KKR's success! Rohit seriously need to be consistent if he wants a call up from the Indian team! Id say Dhawan and Rahane have a lot get a call up! Rahane batting is full of classy stokes! Enjoyed seeing him bat this season with Dravid!

Bad start by WI but hopefully they can put a partnership together and get a reasonable score.

    Shiv falls. Windies are screwed.

I fancy Chennai to win, Hussey, Dhoni, Bravo and Morkel have regularly made the impossible look easy and they've just got the big game temperament.

Bloody hell Vijay. As far as management decisions go, Delhi could give Pakistan a run for their money. Though it would be outrageous even in the world of Pakistan to, say, drop Ajmal. Credit to Delhi. 6 overs to go, a near centurion at the crease, Dhoni just starting, 139 already on the board, Morkel, Bravo still to come. Fantastic management.

Highest 7th wicket partnership ever. So not quite, thankfully!

On another note, Chennai really piled on the runs today, don't think DD can realistically get to 200+ without having to sacrifice all their wickets

20-4-81-1 Tim Bresnan! You need Steve Finn in the team to replace him!

Yeah they showed a determination and application that none of the Pakistanis or Indians barring Azhar and Dravid managed to, and their batting lineups, especially India's were more celebrated. So I respect them a lot for that.

I didn't quite expect them to do it in this style, but yeah, Vijay was outstanding. Went berserk and then took a relative back seat by giving Raina, Dhoni and Bravo more of the strike. He's done it before, I remember a 127 and one massive extra cover 6 from him.

Steve Finn is better bowler I would say, but I think they keep Bresnan in the team because of his record-played 12 won 12 and he can bat.

But they give you an indication how well the player is performing. IPL and T20 international cricket are on the same level of competivness.

Also most of the players I mentioned are peaking now(ex.Gayle, Dwayne Smith)
 LOL what the actual ****? Are you serious? IPL and IT20 are the same?

There's a thread for IPL, use that to discuss the IPL. Thanks.

Didn't realise that IPL doesn't fall under cricket, or that you suddenly became a moderator. Thanks.

"James Anderson should know I am batting for the team. A lot of balls that could've been hit for the boundary I left them alone. But when I get a double tomorrow, I would like James Anderson to say something to me,"
Marlon Samuels said that after close of play yesterday. Top guy, this is the kind of arrogance I love. If he makes a double I'll go ballistic. No whiteman cricketer on my contacts list will be spared a message. Oh, and also because it will means that the Windies have probably crossed 450, and that's a pretty solid total at Trent Bridge. I think Pakistan barely crossed 300 and managed to win, maybe at Trent Bridge or maybe at the Oval, back in 2010, so a total of around 400 should be pretty imposing, especially as Shillingford is in the team now.

If not more competive you have guys like Murli,Dravid still playing in the IPL.
I reckon if there was a contest between an IPl team and an international team Id say any IPl team would win!

***** please! Who made you boss? IPL=T20 Indian domestic cricket?

    Haters gonna hate!

Of course they're not the same. Every test playing international team has a bowling lineup better than any IPL team for a start.

It's also worth noting the Gayle's style of play has been to see off the better opening bowlers quite conservatively, then blitz against the mediocre bowlers later on. This is hardly a tactic he can rely on in iT20s.

Yess Sammy! Abosuletly enjoyed his innings! Getting a 100 against an English attack in England (Broad,Anderson and Swann).. ahh excellent!

Bowling attack in IPL is debbatable-

KKR-Narine,Lee,Abdulla,De Lange,Kallis,Pattinson-Choose 3 out of 6 and you will have a lethal attack.
DD-Yadav,Aaron,Morkel,Nadeem,Pathan ,Russell(another good line up of t20 bowlers)
    CSK-Bollinger,Bravo,Kulasekra,Albie Morkel,Murli,Hilfenhaus,Ashwin
    MI-Malinga,Pollard,Harbhajan,Kulkar ni,Mckay,Johnson,RP singh, munaf patel,Perear

These are dream bowling attacks.. in a every team you have mix of experience and youngsters!

Yeah but Gayle adopted this tactic this IPL season, if you saw him last season he properly mullerd every bowler from ball 1.
We will see what tactic gayle adopt in the T20 world cup!(if he's picked)
