I changed to shooting mainly RAW recently rather than RAW+jpeg and processesing via elements if jpgs are needed. My main reason was that I had just got hold of a much larger memory card and could afford the space
There are times though when I'll slap into jpeg mode for speed but I'm getting better at not needing them.
Mostly I'm doing this because the file should be better quality and allow more adjustment if I've messed up the exposure settings but there is a part of me that will admit to doing it just so I can say "oh yes, I shoot raw don't cha know"
