Re: Give Me Food Heaven, or Food Hell?hmmmm yeah, I know which ones you mean. I like the taste of the red liquorice but the black stuff makes me feel sick. Dramatic I know!(Original post by MelissaJayne)
Both have their pros and cons. Ever since I started working the confectionery aisle at work though I smell these packs of posh liquorice. Can't remember the make, come in a browny coloured bag? A black and red flavour. They smell LOVELY! It's made me crave your hell. So sorry, hell. Stew has been done to death.
Heaven: roasted apples with a sprinkle of sugar
Hell: poached pears -
Re: Give Me Food Heaven, or Food Hell?
I'd go for the Hell option above!
I don't have a food hell, i've genuinely never tried a food that I dislike, which is pretty useful for anybody that's cooking for me
Food Heaven: Olive, feta and sundried tomato salad. 3 of the greatest foods ever all in one!
(i'll give one just so I can join in
) Food Hell: i'd still eat these if given to me, but i've never made a point of buying them, they're definitely near the bottom of my food list

Re: Give Me Food Heaven, or Food Hell?
Heaven, F mayo the C.
Takes over so many well-respected sandwiches, and pasta dishes now too. YES, my friend made me pasta with MAYO. And at work today I had to lug a load of it onto top shelf. Mayo-vendetta.
Heaven: Rice cakes topped with dairylea and beetroot
Hell: Dry ryvita plain -
Re: Give Me Food Heaven, or Food Hell?Heaven ALL the way. I slow roast peppers regularly. I'd eat them with anything, on their own, at any time. It amazes me how different they taste than in their raw state too. Stuff them with cheese/couscous and then we have a party.
heaven: The crunchy end bit of a warm French stick dipped in oil/balsamic vinegar
hell: nachos and guacamole dip -
Re: Give Me Food Heaven, or Food Hell?Except soggy biscuit (sorry had to go there)!(Original post by MelissaJayne)
No biscuit is hell, surely!! Mmm think I'll give you heaven, female forever swayed by "choc".
heaven: Crunchy veg in a stir fry
hell: soggy veg in a casserole
Heaven of course! Love stir fry.
Heaven: Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken
Hell: Beef in black bean sauce

especially with thousand island dip!
