How is life like for a mature student at Durham?

33 here and maybe starting MSc in Sustainability and development.

Just waiting for the confirmation of the offer by admissions office! I think I may well be the oldest in my class lol

I've always wanted to study at Durham so for me it is going to be an important landmark in my career as an older student.

Well I am mature anyway :tongue:

I don't think i will be living in College ....likely in a house in the center as it is central and not far from the deparment!

tried already, and also rightmove and primelocation.
They say it is too soon to have something for september and studentpad already has most not available.
I need a BIG one, have a dog, 2 parrots, plants and so on and so on :biggrin:

April 17 I am visiting Durham but I think I will accept the offer straight away. Do they give you a time frame for acceptance.

I know it says as soon as possible but will they chase you?

When I received mine I went straight on accepting afraid that might disappear!!
have no idea if they wait, you are a postgraduate and I am beginning the begin :biggrin:

Finally got my visit to the department and college sorted for early June. Looking forward to it, not looking forward to house hunting though.

going to visit the department in April...and will arrange viewings then as well...I will see like 2-3 houses and decide...

I don't know if you were refering to me, but I am in the Foundation Centre, so it's different from you.
In my case, it was almost instantly, and I got Stephenson (yayyyy).
I think it takes around 3 weeks to know what college you will get.
