    Yes lol it is tongue twisting isnt it. Its meant to be one of the most difficult languages to learn in India.

    It's a shame that there are very few S Indians - I always think it's much nicer than N Indian, but I guess it's a result of S India being more prosperous, so less reason to emigrate, so less people to set up S Indian restaurants (and I suspect that when S Indians do emigrate, they're better educated than most chefs).
    South India is more prosperous than Punjab/Delhi etc?

    Yes depends what u think prosperous is... Like punjab there is agriculture in south india. There also lots of places with high manufacturing and development which is also a vital criterea for 'prosperity'

    Nah, they do it for individual states too, but I can't find much definitive info. That said, HDI is another way of measuring prosperity and Kerala ranks higher than many western nations, so fair enough.

    They don't know. He has got some hindu relatives on his dad's side, but him and his parents aren't religious at all. It doesn't really matter to me whether me parents think it's okay or not. :dontknow:

    Nah, ain't got any relatives there but my boyfriend's company has relocated him there and I don't wanna be in England anymore so I'm going with him.
