you've made your fortune and its time for you to retire ... where would you go? the bahamas, himilayas, south of france? or maybe just a quaint cottage in cornwall?

personally i'd like a nice house in Sweden or maybe a vineyard in New Zealand

Back to the place where I grew up in The Netherlands.
I wouldn't like to move anywhere else though. I'm planning to stay in London for the rest of my life hopefully.

    Bangladesh
I've only ever been there once (3 years ago) to know that it would be a dream for me to one day live there
I looooovvveeeeed (and at times, hated) that some people (including me ofcourse lol) didnt have a clue what the time/day was! It was so freeing and had such a huge community feel which I remember feeling when I used to live in Tower Hamlets 10 years ago. TH has lost that feel :cry2:
Also, I'm in love with the monsoon

If Bangladesh is completely corrupt/destroyed in 50 years time then Istanbul would be my next place. Its such a gorgeous city with really welcoming people! I absolutely loved it there but like Bangladesh, it was too hot for my liking.
    I cant take consistent heat

In reality I would stay here in England (London specifically). I'm comfortable here - theres no place like home, blah, blah, blah and one thing which I love about the country is unpredictable weather!

Hong Kong. Which isn't exactly a country in itself, but it's the only place in China which has Cantonese as its main language (which is what I'm really looking for), so I suppose it counts? XD

I'd be tempted to go somewhere like Southern France or Italy. Maybe buy a nice villa or something, assuming I could afford something like that.

The likelihood is, however, that I will probably end up living in England somewhere.
