Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problems
Now I can't see it - did you hide it EVS?
EDIT: on a lighter note. I see admins has changed their titles on TSR - RK and Fleur and some others now known as "TSR community team" and as a more darker red username and some admins known as "TSR group staff" and has green colour

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsIt's always been set to hidden(Original post by mr tim)

I think it switches when I post, but I can't reproduce it. Maybe someone else can replicate it by altering their options back and forth? -
Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problems
I'm getting a database error when reporting wiki articles: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Please_help!_I_don't_know_what_t o_do!

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsLikewise. Could it be the symbols in the wiki title?(Original post by EierVonSatan)

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsGood question, I've removed the ! characters - see if it works now(Original post by Vulpes)

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsGot it. It still doesn't work tho.(Original post by EierVonSatan)
Good question, I've removed the ! characters - see if it works now
http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...now_what_to_do
The wiki link is: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...now_what_to_do!
But the link that gets reported is: /wikireport.php?title=Please_help _I_don't_know_what_to_do&revisio n=134130
So the ! symbols get removed T~T. -
Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsThat's the link from the widget, yes? That should be a redirect page to the new one now - which is void of the ! characters, but the problem could still be the ' character(Original post by Vulpes)

I think this is the right place for this.....
I have chosen not to watch threads, but since the rejig once I post in a new thread/start a thread I get notices telling me about new posts.
Just thought y'all would like to know. Helpful.
Around halfway down the page - under "Default thread watching mode" is it set correctly?
Then maybe you have to set your current watched threads here: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/subscription.php -
Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsIt's set correctly, and I have 0 threads that I'm watching, but once I start a new thread or post in a new thread it sends notices.(Original post by mr tim)

Odd. Not much of an issue but still annoying.

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problemsIf you go to advanced reply, what is the notification type set in the "Subscribe to this thread" setting? Does it do it if you post by quick reply or just when making a new thread / using advanced reply?(Original post by Kevmeister)

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problems
Code boxes

For the latest problem with them, see http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=1980006
For some reason, instead of enabling the bottom scrollbar to keep the size of the codebox within the window width, it just keeps it disabled hence causing a stretched page, because code boxes (correctly) do not wrap lines in chrome.
However, IE9 does wrap the lines...but only when the box reaches a particular width and the window is constraining it.
Hopefully this would all be fixed by sorting out the scrollbars.Last edited by Chrosson; 23-04-2012 at 19:44. -
