It's not just subs usertitles as mine has also reset, it must just not apply to ''html allowed'' usertitles and thus isn't confined to one usergroup exactly.

Well in subs usertitles are HTML not allowed afaik. But then originally it was just mods. It might apply to normal users as well ofcourse, but they can't change their user title (maybe RK should see if it affects one of his normal user test accounts if the usertitle is manually changed). If it did, it wouldn't appear to be usergroup related at all. If it didn't, it would appear to affect when you change your own usertitle.

Edit: No, subs can't have HTML in their usertitles. But then misread original post.

I'm unable to log in from a desktop - Google Chrome, Firefox etc (comes up with the can't load page error). It seems to have been like this for over a month, maybe two (at least from when I had to change password). Had to download iPad app to write this! Please help.

A specific desktop I assume? As in, you are presumably able to log in on a different computer successfully?

See if this works for you. It says invalid thread specified for me. Don't even recall the thread

It's a thread in the mod forums that I'd expect that you would have been subscribed to when you were a mod.

Ah ok I was wondering that. Any idea why it's still coming up even though I'm not subscribed to it? I checked in my watched threads list and it's not there.

Are you absolutely certain that it's not in your watched threads list? Other than double-checking that, I can't think of much else to suggest, sorry. Does the "stop watching" link not work?

You remain subscribed to the threads in forums that are private but they don't show up on your watched threads list as they're now in forums that you cannot access

It's a bug that they continue to show up in your widget.

Re: TSR is back! Let us know if you're experiencing any problems
As part of the planned changes, the ability to hide the sidebar is gone. This, as a result, means that the sidebar is visible for everyone. Now, I didn't use the sidebar, and I still don't particularly wish to - so I tried to remove it by removing all the widgets, but now I am left with a great bit empty space there! Is this something that can be fixed, or am I going to have to make/use yet another greasemonkey script to fix the issue?

Unfortunately, I think this is an unavoidable consequence of the changes so Greasemonkey or similar is likely the only way to remove the space.

I am using the Greasemonkey script to remove the sidebar and it is very easy to install so I don't think it's a problem. Perhaps make a separate thread with the details of how to use it and make it a sticky so others can remove the sidebar too?

Presumably you've seen http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=2062836 to have installed it, so what's wrong with that for discussion?
And what do you mean by 'how to use it'? Are you looking for better greasemonkey instructions perhaps?

I haven't actually seen that thread before, no. I found the script by following a link that rhumphries gave in one of his posts somewhere. But now I know, and it's fine for discussion, yes.
