Sorry, I think I've confused myself.
I applied on the 6th of June for UCAS Extra, as I realised the university I wanted to apply to initially did actually do my course.
Since then, I rang them and asked about my application, and they told me they were just seeing if they had enough applicants to run an interview day, or else it might just be a phone or Skype interview.
This was about two weeks ago now, and I'm aware the Extra deadline is approaching. There are 5 days until it closes, as then it goes into clearing.
What though, does this actually mean? Does it continue as it is? Or is the application redundant and I have to phone on results day?
The thing is, if I have to wait for results day, I'd rather phone the university before Extra closes, but if it just carries on or something, I'd rather not seem like I'm pestering- over the last few months, it'd be the fourth time I'd spoken to them. So how does clearing work in relation to Extra?
