    Postgraduate Decisions Thread 2012
There was similar thread last year, and it looks like a great idea to share this information and give each other some idea about timeline and chances.

Everybody can (should) post what they have and then just go back and adjust as new information comes to light. Come on, let's help each other a bit!

First, a few words about yourself

Then the following info for every uni you applied:

    University:

    Re: Postgraduate Decisions Thread 2012
I am a student from Singapore, taking an external programme from UOL's Computing and Information Systems course. After finding my interest in the field of technology, I decided to go to UK to further and obtain my masters. Currently my average is, 83.25% in year 1 and 87.25% in year 2 and the grading is more than 70% for a 1st and 60% for a 2nd Upper. These are my offers.

    University: King's College London
Course: MSc Computing, IT Law and Management
Date Application sent: 11 December 2011
Date Decision received: 5 January 2012
    Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: Achieve a overall second upper degree
Your reaction: Surprised, first one in.

    University: University of Warwick
Course: MSc Information Systems Management and Innovations
Date Application sent: 11 December 2011
Date Decision received: 13 January 2012
    Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: Achieve a overall second upper degree
Your reaction: Okay, interesting and sparked a dilemma between my choices. Don't know what to pick, (but seriously, why is WBS so expensive?)

    University: London School of Economics
Course: MSc Management, Information Systems and Innovations
Date Application sent: 8 December 2011
Date Decision received: 5 February 2012
    Decision: Conditional
Offer conditions: Achieve a overall second upper degree, Submit my original transcript, reference in cover letter.
Your reaction: wow, this I'm surprised as it just adds on to my confusion. (most people on student room is quite hyped about LSE)

Therefore I still do not know what Uni I should go to although the reply to offer is pretty soon and I don't wanna make a hasty decision. Therefore if anyone has any info with this course or these schools, send me a private msg!

Also from the US. Finishing up my BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Will be done a year early and cannot wait to get away from a state university. Re: Postgraduate Decisions Thread 2012
I have a BSc in Education Studies and Science (2.1), a PGCE in Secondary Science and I'm in my second year of teaching. I did apply for 2012 entry but think (99% sure) I'm going to ask Durham if I can defer entry to 2013 instead to give me chance to save more money and to also give me longer to settle into my new job (I started a new post this academic year, a permanent one this time).

    University: Nottingham University
    Course: MA Education (Part time)
    Date Application sent: 3rd October
    Date Decision received: 25th October
    Decision: Conditional
    Offer conditions: Send official transcript
    Your reaction: Relieved and pleased

    University: Durham University
    Course: MA Education (Part time)
    Date Application sent: 3rd October
    Date Decision received: 25th October
    Decision: Unconditional
    Offer conditions: N/A
Your reaction: OMG two offers in a day. I read the email from Nottingham first and then the email from Durham. At first I thought the email was from Nottingham again and wondered why they were emailing me twice then realised it was from Durham before screaming out loud.

Hi everyone! Thank you very much for sharing. Best of luck!

To people who did not share yet - please do! It is in everyone's interest to be able to get some idea of the timelines and chances of admission. I know it is so much easier to just look at what other people write, but if no one gives any info there would be nothing to look at!
