Wondering whether it'd be wise to try again next year.. or whether I'd be rejected by all the same places! I keep narrowly missing out on places.. so competitive this year.

Wow, you guys all have fancy offers from fancy unis'. I feel ashamed of mine, now!

    Let's see:

    University: University of East Angila
    Course: MSC Marketing
    Date Application sent: 20 March
    Date Decision received: 29 March
    Decision: Accepted -
    Offer: Conditional (Financial)
Your reaction: HAPPY! I really wanted to get in.

    University: University of Central Lanchashire
    Course: MSC Marketing Management
    Date Application sent: 19 March
    Date Decision received: 30 March
    Decision: Accepted -
    Offer: Conditional (Financial)
    Your reaction: Indifferent.

    University: University of Sheffield
    Course: MSC Marketing Management Practice
    Date Application sent: 21 March
    Date Decision received: 30 March
    Decision: Rejected -
Your reaction: Disappointed! I really wanted to secure a place there, considering its prominent academic reputation. And they never really gave me a reason why they rejected me.

    University: University of Westminster
    Course: MSC Marketing Marketing
    Date Application sent: 10 February
    Date Decision received: 03 March
    Decision: Accepted -

Any UEA September 2012 applicants here?

I did apply to Westminster for the same program. I would hope to hear something this week since I applied on March 20. Of course the holiday has an effect I'm sure on their response time.

Hopefully placements, a bit of travelling, learning a language
I've heard back from my top UK universities, and unfortunately I was like, next in line for a place at many of them, but didn't get in. I'm still waiting to hear from 2 or 3 UK unis though, and EPFL.
    Hows it going for you?

Turning down Cambridge and going on a gap year to study the things/learn the languages I want before narrowing myself down to my DPhil thesis topic.

It will be a great year.

I received an e-mail saying I had a conditional offer from Imperial College, but I still do not know the conditions.

The new key event is that I might get a job at the Swiss National Bank, my first interviewer will be the head of Economic Analysis of the SNB :-/.

I have also an offer from UCL. DO you know when they make their decisions about Departmantal scholarships?
What programme did you apply to?
