    Benzocaine
    Hi,

    I was told that Benzocaine cannot be injected,I know that it is not water soluble but does anyone else know why you cant inject it?

    its because it is of low potency that it is not used in the parenteral route, you'd use another L.A such as lignocaine usually combined with nor adrenaline when you want to inject . btw if a drug is completely insoluble in water, it would be useless to us as a drug
