    Guardian League Table
    Hey,
I think I've seen this touched upon and commented about in threads before, but the release of the Guardian University League Table has gotten me wondering about how Goldsmiths so often ranks lowly in tables, but upholds a reputation as a great university.

I've firmed an offer to study History of Art (which Goldsmiths ranks 76th in) and I'm confident that the course approach and content is perfectly aligned to what I want in my degree, but I can't help but be a little anxious at such low ratings.

    Any comments/explanations?

It totally depends what course you want to do, I chose Goldsmiths because it has a great reputation for research excellence in my chosen field

I wouldn't go by the league tables but then I'm interested in research only.
