Well I'm bored so I decided to make another one of these. All the others I've seen are pretty poorly made since they classify along nationalities and use vague terms like 'white'. I've created one that is based more around actual genetic lines. Notice I've only included 8 options because there are really no clear cut variations in homosapien genetics, there is a lot of overlapping. I have also allowed the selection of multiple choices if you feel that one racial classification does not fully describe you. Apologies if you feel your racial background is not an option in the poll, I tried to choose broad classifications that would cover large amounts of people. I mean no offense by this poll, it's just for fun/curiosity. Vote away!

Edit: Ok there is some confusion surrounding the terms so I'll go ahead and explain their usage in this poll. Note that I am using these terms broadly speaking and not 100% correctly and I am well aware of this. There are simply no proper universally agreed upon terms so I've done my best with a little wikipedia exploration to pick out the most suitable.

Aryan: Of European heritage.
Semitic: Of Middle eastern and North African heritage.
Negroid: Of Sub Saharan African heritage.
Australoid: Of South East Asian and Australian Pacific heritage blacks.
Indo-Aryan: Of heritage stretching from Iran to north India.
Dravidian: Of south and central Indian heritage.
Mongoloid: Of East and North Asian heritage.
American: Of North and South American heritage as well as surrounding islands and the Arctic.

It's the anthropological term for what's typically refered to as 'asian'. Since there is much variety in genetics between the different peoples of asia, I used this term that refers specifically to east asians. I don't see why it's funny.

Sigh...as a philologist I KNOW I'm going to regret asking this but what do you even mean by "aryan" and "indo-aryan" here? neither have anything to do with blond hair blue eyed nords and in fact I don't think I've seen anyone using the full spate of classifications you have this century...

I don't mean blond hair blue eyes. Basically 'white' but not semite. Indo-aryan for north Indians, Pakistanis, Afghans, Sri Lankans etc.

It's difficult to come up with the right terms I know since race is such a dodgy topic but it is still more accurate than the usual options that crop up.

I knew this would come up. Again I am using the anthropological term. It is not the same as the derogatory n word. I could not use black since there are blacks in south east asia and australia pacific that would belong to a different racial lineage.

What an odd way of using it. Aryan as a word in and of itself doesn't really exist outside of 19-20th century racialist literature and ****ty philology. An Arya = North Indian. Airyan = Iranic speaker (Persian, Kurd etc)

As for "white" well there are several different, broad, classifications. A Greek as a Mediterranean is certainly not the same as a north European.

Race is often arbitrary but this poll is particularly bad. Despite your defense of "trying to use anthropological terms" you're doing a particularly terrible job.

I don't mean this nastily, just...yeah...you're wrong and people may well start calling you racist. I'm not, quite yet, but...
