    Hey,

I have recently got two 2.2s in my assignment despite all my efforts to succeed. I put hard work and effort into them. I really want to succeed in the English language but the feedback i receive is often your poor grammar and language lets you down. I have been through a number of stuff like the King's english and the queens English and GCSE's English work books but they do not seem to help.

Has anyone got any better suggestions??

I am a final year law student.

Grammar and spelling through osmosis, perhaps? Reading a lot can help. It may seem silly, but what really improved my grammar/spelling (though I hadn't had problems before that, actually) is reading a lot online/borrowing a lot of books from your local library. Also joining discussions about writing online is really useful. It's worked some for me at least, though I don't know how useful it'll be for you. :P I also recommend just checking grammar sites if you're the slightest bit unsure about anything. It's how I've picked up a lot of useful grammar and spelling tips.
