I plan to. I intercalated in Neurosciences and I'm currently in an AFP post. ACF seems the next logical step.

I'd like to when it comes round...however I've got a question to anyone who might know. Would having done a regular FP rotation hinder you significantly from acquiring an ACF post? Havent heard much on whether it put you at a significant disadvantage

I don't think a regular FP will hinder/disadvantage the application, but an AFP will advantage it, simply because (1) AFP shows one's dedication to academic career, (2) if there is a teaching block build in the AFP, one will also get formal teaching experience. According to last year's scoring sheet, both (1) and (2) are counted. Otherwise I don't see the difference between regular FP and AFP. Some regular FPs also do high quality research, having pubications, even a PhD.

Neurology or ID. I can't see myself interested enough in other specialities to commit my career just yet.
