Inception was not a complex hard to follow plot line like some would make it out to be.

    avatar was terrible.

the matrix makes not sense in terms of it's plot is broken, how do neo's powers transcend the matrix into the real world, why would the machines stop killing everyone if neo went to the mainframe? is the architect a human whodesigned the matrix or a machine?

    Flim opinions? :lolwut:
yes dear it is possible to discuss your thoughts and feeling about films.

Why is it any different to having an opinion on a piece of music or television it's still media you consume and for some of this induces though and forms opinion,

    Re: Unpopular Film Opinions
The Harry Potter films are overrated. The first four are pretty good , 5, 6 and 7 (part 1) are dreadfully boring, but I will admit 7 (part 2) was pretty good. The production team are brilliant and the world they create is by far the best thing about the films, but the acting from the main cast is dire, even in the later films where they're old enough to not have an excuse. And yeah as I said, the later films (with the exception of deathly hallows part 2) are boring, they're overlong, nothing happens, the plot sucks.

I'm not saying they're necessarily bad, but even if all 8 films were as good as the Godfather 2, I'd still call it overrated when you look at the way people go on about it, jesus christ.

So yeah. Come at me bro's.

Probably get hated for this, but I hate Shakespeare in Love. The plot/screenplay is incredibly cheesy, the acting (despite having some brilliant actors) is not anything to shout about, and I didn't think the cinematography was anything special. Generally terrible considering how many Oscars it won, especially as it was up against things like Elizabeth, Saving Private Ryan and Life is beautiful

I imagine most HP fans would I agree with you, I certainly do. If you were slagging off the books however...

They're good children's books, very immersive and well written, but that's all they are, children's books, anyone who thinks they're the literary equivalent of Shakespeare is deluded.

    Amen.

With no preconceptions or bias I watched it simultaneously with a friend (watching it elsewhere). We lasted about 35 minutes. It was utter ****. Terrible plot, terribly executed.

I can't even quite put my finger on it, it was just a **** film, I don't understand how anyone lasted right through it.

    this.

    I adore the books.
The films are good but I must admit sometimes the acting is a tad cringey.

JKR was really using Dues Ex Machina to its fullest extent towards the end of the books... I mean the Elder wand, really?

I thought it was, by far the best film of the year. Much better than the Dark Knight.
