Reapply to Oxbridge??

They certainly did last year but may have changed their policy on it for this year as far as I know. One of my friends at Durham this year applied for a NatSci course at Cambridge whilst studying physics at Durham and got an offer. He's starting the course this October.

Thinking of reapplying this year after being pooled and rejected last year.
Scratching my head as to how to improve my application, wondered what people thought of the idea of taking an EPQ during my Gap Year at local college? Useful? Any other suggestions as to how to spend my Gap Year most productively, in terms of reapplication? Historically focussed travel?

What were your grades out of interest?

... I'd certainly do something history orientated, teach it, try and get a job associated with it.. museum if ancient history or a recent museum of the cold war or modern history.. part time if you can, qualifications and intensive courses are a good idea too
