I've got a personal interview tomorrow but i don't what i'm meant to where. Is it shirt, black trousers, smart shoes or just casual (jeans)? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Probably something smart like you described. I wore a suit to my interview. Some other guys there wore them too, others just wore black trousers and a shirt and some wore jeans. Depending on the uni and course, I don't think it matters too much (especially if they haven't specified a dress code).

I'm on that course right now, nearly finished my first year If it's anything like my interview, it's nothing formal, they just sit you down and tell you that you have a place and what your conditions are. I went in a suit, and I was the only person, so it's not really necessary. Just go casual/smart, nice chinos and shirt. Probably see you around the building

In case anyone comes across this wanting a definitive answer, i wore smart shoes, trousers and a shirt and was probably smartest dressed there. But in a good way
