No he's not. At his best he's a skillful dribbler with a good cross, and enough pace to get a bit of space, but against the average fullback he's not gonna be able to just knock it round and sprint past them. I've thought that at Boro, Villa and you.

Can't see Cardiff holding on if the game carries on like this. If they win it they'll have to nick a goal on the counter or find a way of retaining possession better. I'm not sure they're capable of the latter.
One of the best examples came after he flicked on the header to Suarez earlier. Suarez has a shot, and the keeper saves it; a real striker of quality (see Javier Hernandez) would've been following it up. Carroll simply ambles into the box.
