If everyone's over 18, in it for the right reasons (ie, make new friends) and takes sensible precautions (skype first, meet in a public place, tell someone where you're going etc) I don't see a problem.
When I first moved to a new country/city where I didn't know a soul, I met lots of people over the internet through various meet up groups (and one person from TSR). Not only did I survive to tell the tale, some of them became very good friends

Right, so my previous thread was closed due to misuse of the anon function. So as long as people dont post under anon, this will be fine.
Anyway I thought it would be a good idea for people to post where they are from. They can then PM others close to their area and make new like minded friends. Sound good?
