unsynced emails phone/computer

unsynced emails phone/computerMy hotmail inbox never seems synced between my computer and HTC explorer.
If I read an email on one and then check my emails on the other device later on/ the next day then it's still there, unread !?!?!?!
Is there a way to properly sync them? -

Re: unsynced emails phone/computerHotmail is a POP3 service. You'll need to configure your mail settings to auto-read messages that have been pulled to your phone. My recommendation would be to can Hotmail and have it forward everything to a Gmail address. Gmail supports push email - IMAP. That will properly sync.(Original post by Clare~Bear)
