    Battlefield 3 connection issues
So I've had the game for about 2 weeks now, and I was really starting to enjoy it, until about 5 days ago when I clicked "Find a game" and got the message "Failed to join the game. Please check your network connection and try again." I can't join EA servers because of this, so I have to manually select a DICE server from the servers' list. This is very frustrating as sometimes I have to wait for at least 10 minutes to join a decent game.

    How can I fix this?

Is this on pc? If so allow through firewall/ensure network is not too strict.

    Nope, it's the PS3 version.

Yeah that always happens to me I just go on custom search and make sure it's a European server and then I just join one from the list.

But I can't join ANY EA servers.

EA made a great game, it's just a shame that as a corporation they suck!

They're just as bad as their main rivals at Activision (I don't buy Activision games anymore because their CEO Bobby Kotick openly admits that he wants to raise the prices of CoD more even though the RRP for CoD games was raised to £54.99 when other games are £49.99).

I don't like COD, but at least in that game I can get into a game without much fuss.

Search on the internet for 'PS3 port forwarding' and 'PS3 DMZ'. These will require you to perform some technical networking stuff but should improved your connection on your ps3 overall.

It would be a great game if they actually get around to finishing it
