Arteta has had a whopping 3 assists in 29 games for Arsenal this season. In comparison, RVP has had 8 as our main goalscorer. He has been a good purchase to steady our midfield, but he seems to excel in passing sideways mainly.

Walcott has hot and cold days - with the cold coming in far more frequent. I'm sorry, but he has been appalling this season apart from a couple of games. Don't you wonder why Arsenal fans want him to leave?

This is Rosicky's first good game this season.

Song is good, no doubt, but he is not supposed to be an attacking player.

Ultimately, you have just seemed to cite this game as your evidence, even though the rest of our team has been shocking the rest of the season, bar the Chelsea and Blackburn game possibly. Go through each game and you'll be surprised at how many games RVP has baled us out. Everton, Sunderland (first half of season) and Stoke spring to mind for example.

I'm not saying that. But without him this season, we would be mid table. Our defence has been shocking and our attack with RVP has been shocking. There's no two ways around it.

Yeah, completely ignore the existence of Fabregas and Nasri.

Oh and RVP wasn't injured the whole season - he was injured the first half of the season (which Nasri was arguably the best player in the whole league for, mind you). He came back and netted 18 PL goals in the second half.

    I support Arsenal.

I've watched virtually every Arsenal game for the past 3 seasons (and have been supporting them since I was, what, 6). So I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about.

And how many have actually performed this year?

Sagna has been injured until recently. Vermaelen has been playing left-back most of the season, and has been injured a few times. That said, he's hardly been the amazing defender we all know him to be. Gibbs has been injured most of the season.

I said Song was a good player and is definitely worthy of his place. Ramsey has been pretty dire this year. I've already talked about Arteta.

AOC is new but I'll admit he's got tremendous talent. Walcott has been trash apart from a few games where he's played well.

Go through the subs and tell me which ones have been playing consistently well.

I actually don't know what that means. Is MU supposed to be Man Utd?

He's the best player in the chelsea team tbf, Mata a close second, but people underestimate ramires, full of energy, just that he lacks the technical attributes of a central midfielder e.g. passing and long range shooting, otherwise he would be on yaya toures level. His speed and dribbling is top class though.

To be honest your best defender this year has been koscielny anyway.
